Project Description
This project is a new 16,651 SF Hospitality & Culinary Arts Building for Carteret Community College and is scheduled for construction completion in December 2019. Stroud Engineering is a consultant to Burnette-Chalk Architecture and Planning and is providing design surveys and site civil, mechanical, electrical, & plumbing engineering and construction services. This project required full North Carolina State Construction Office oversight and processes. The facility will include the following spaces:
- Two hot kitchens, bake shop, cold kitchen, & outdoor kitchen
- Hospitality lab
- Classrooms
- Dining room & patio
- Storage areas, walk-in refrigerators, & walk-in freezer
- Offices
